Tommy Romano brings more than 28 years of business and engineering experience to BridgeComm where he is designing a multi-point optical laser communications solution for an increasingly data-driven future.

Prior to BridgeComm, Tommy was Chief Systems Engineer for SMC DSP programs at L3/Harris. He later became the Director of Space Systems Engineering at General Atomics overseeing multiple remote sensing and communication satellite programs for NASA/JPL and SMC. He also played a key role as the Technical Proposal Lead in securing over $2.5B in new contracts for both companies. He began his career at Lockheed Martin Space and Missiles as a satellite AI&T engineer on the CRSS program where he conducted testing for two commercial remote sensing satellites (Ikonos) and served as a Satellite Launch Conductor for launches at VAFB.

Tommy was also Principal Satellite Engineer and Ground Station Project Manager for the Ikonos program at Space Imaging/GeoEye/DigitalGlobe.

Tommy also previously pursued his passion for alternate food production for Mars Colonies, founding an Environmentally Controlled Agriculture company, Infinite Harvest.
