As Chief Scientist, Paul is responsible for both the design as well as the implementation of BridgeComm’s point-to-multipoint optical communications solution, which will enable humans and machines to connect with unlimited flexibility wherever data resides.
Paul brings his extensive knowledge of laser and optical physics to BridgeComm, along with a strong industrial manufacturing background in both optics and liquid crystal devices.
Prior to BridgeComm, Paul led the engineering and R&D teams at Meadowlark Optics, manufacturing a wide variety of polarization optics and liquid crystal devices. Some of those devices included miniature LC cells which are incorporated into commercial telecom products.
In addition he designed a family of LC tunable filters which are currently used in hyperspectral imaging and detection systems.
Paul holds a bachelor’s degree from the California Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
